As Managing Director of Broadleaf Forestry Company, LLC, Brian oversees all aspects of the company’s operations, including oversight of all forest management, timberland investment, and timber marketing activities.

Brian has over twenty years of experience in the forest products and timber industry, starting as a forest technician for a hardwood sawmill located in central Virginia in 1995, and then later as a procurement forester. He has been an “in-the-woods” forester most of his career. In 2004, Brian started working with landowners as a forestry consultant. He has extensive experience with forest management, forest finance, timber inventories, GIS mapping, timber sales, harvesting operations, and timberland investment acquisitions/dispositions. His two areas of advanced expertise, timber sale services and forest management, are the primary services he currently provides to landowners. Prior to Broadleaf Forestry, Brian was a consulting forester with Precision Forestry, Columbia Forest Resources, and served as Vice-President of Operations for Upton Timber Company.
