Bill became a Partner at Commonwealth Commercial in 2001 after a 27 year association with Joyner & Company Realtors where he was Director of the Land Department. Bill participated in the assemblage of land for a number of planned communities comprised of retail, office, residential and light industrial sites including Innsbrook (800 acres), Deep Run Business Center (160 acres), Wyndham (1300 acres), Roseland (1500 acres) and Appomattox Industrial Park (500 acres), Paragon Place (40 acres), Twin Hickory (350 acres), Brookhollow Richmond (115 acres) and Winterfield Village (35 acres).
Bill earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of William and Mary, and holds a brokers license in Virginia and North Carolina. He is recognized regionally and statewide for his understanding on the highest and best use of land.
Bill holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designations, both awarded by the National Association of Realtors.
His accomplishments include: recognition by the Richmond Board of REALTORS as a Distinguished Achiever for outstanding sales for over thirty years, the past Chairman of the Commercial Council of the Virginia Association of Realtors, Board of Director for the Virginia Forestry Education Foundation, Board Member of the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate and Past President of the Central Virginia Chapter of National Association of Industrial and Office Parks. Bill was the outstanding Commercial Broker for the Richmond Association of Realtors in 2004. Bill was named Outstanding Salesman of the Year by the Richmond Board of Realtors in 1980, and Salesman of the Year for the Virginia Association of Realtors in 1981.
Bill sold over 8,000 acres of land during 2014.
